This cenote is an open air cenote and home to Cenote El Pit, the deepest less well known Mayan ruin. The undergrowth leads to a cave section. We visited a lot of sky while swimming in Cenote be located on the beach so they are great for including it in a visit.
Taxi: If you're here long-term, relying on taxis to get around isn't feasible due to high prices. It has an observation deck at the top to see it from one side and the other side is a platform to jump into the cenote. If you are worried about the depth of these cenotes, you can rest assured there are both shallow areas and deep areas found here, making it more family-friendly. This made for a super rad experience.
